Our luxury guesthouse is set in a former farmhouse on the edge of De Eese nature area. Its spacious apartments each have a private, furnished terrace and garden. In the landscape garden you will find a pond, several terraces and orchards.
Apartments at De Nijenshof feature a modern country-style décor. Each has a separate living room with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. All bedrooms have box-spring beds.
Breakfast, including fresh orange juice and eggs from De Nijenshof’s chickens, can be ordered on demand and is being served in the communal lounge or in your apartment.
Comment of a guest on Giethoorn (need I say more ......):
<< My dreamplace. I would love to live there..... The village is no less than a fairyland, it is a magical place. The village is roads-free. One canal flows through the village and 176 bridges connect parts. The loudest sound you'll hear is the quacking of a duck. Approximately 2600 residents live in homes on private islands. Tourists must leave their cars at outskirts of the village and should take a boat in order to enter this village. Whole village is decorated with flowers. Just imagine how peaceful it must be there.
